SAFETY ASPECTS
With safety as a paramount concern, the C2000 incorporates advanced technology to ensure water dispensed is always safe to drink.
Sterilisation and Filtration:
The C2000 uses a proven Ozone (O3) sterilisation process together with antimicrobial technology to ensure that water is always safe to drink. Ozone is automatically circulated throughout the water at daily set intervals to prevent harmful bacteria and viruses from forming in the system, and antimicrobial technology keeps water purified as it passes through the tap.
Ozone is a powerful disinfectant and deodourising agent consisting of three oxygen atoms (called O3, or "Super Oxygen"). When circulated in water, ozone effectively destroys bacteria, viruses and other micro-organisms immediately upon contact (including virulent organisms such as Cryptosporidium and Guardia). Ozone also helps to remove odours and improve taste. The process is approved by the U.S. FDA, highly effective and widely used in the bottled water industry and in over 3,000 municipal drinking water installations world wide.
Antimicrobial technology, also approved by the U.S. FDA, incorporates breakthrough techniques to prevent growth and migration of bacteria on contact surfaces and is used in many different types of water systems. It prevents biofilm build-up and also helps to prolong the system's useful life.
In addition to ozone and antimicrobial technology, the C2000 uses an advanced filtration system including a 5-micron nominal sediment filter and a 1-micron absolute sediment filter with activated carbon.
This combination of proven sterilisation and advanced filtration ensures that water dispensed by the C2000 is always clean, fresh and safe to drink.
Electronic Management:
To maintain continuous watch over the C2000's systems, an internal microprocessor operates and monitors all functional aspects of the machine, providing a visible display message and automated shut-off should a component or system failure occur.

Systems: |
 |
High Temperature
Vent (releases refrigerant pressure if high
temperatures occur) |
 |
High Pressure Cut Off (shuts
power off when pressure rises too high) |
 |
Full Tank Cut Off (stops
water production when tank is full) |
 |
Low Humidity Sensor (stops
water production when the relative humidity
drops below a required minimum) |
 |
Fluctuating Power Cut Off
(shuts power off when electrical supply becomes
unstable) |
 |
Water Valve Cut Off (will not dispense water if a critical component fails) |
